About Ascension Tactics

The acclaimed Ascension Tactics pioneered a brand-new genre by combining the best of tactical board games with the fast-paced strategy of deck-building games. Control legendary champions and battle through a campaign to save the world of Vigil. There are many challenges ahead, but in the end, only two outcomes: oblivion or Ascension.

Criminally under-rated

Fantastic game. I didn't think deck building would mesh well with a tactical miniatures (standees) combat, but it does. The game provides a lot of interesting choices, but ramps up quickly enough that it never drags. With the different scenarios and game modes (competitive, co-op, teams, etc.) it has excellent versatility and replayability. Great production, also. Do yourself a favor and buy it.

Gave wrong map and no reply to support request

I ordered ascension tactics expecting that it would come with the bonus neoprene map…. It came with a bonus map for a completely different game. I’m disappointed because I paid a premium price including shipping in comparison to getting it from some where local in Australia.

This is my favorite version of Ascension

I really love how the tactical hex grid map transforms the game we've come to love, from a pure deckbuilder to a tactical battle game. Tons more interesting choices now. This reinvented ascension and deckbuilding games for me.
