All I can say is “Wow!”
I just got back from the GAMA Expo where Stone Blade revealed the early prototypes of Ascension Tactics: Deckbuilding Miniatures Game.
The Playtest Anxiety was intense...
Even for someone like me who has been doing this for well over a decade you still fear showing off your prototype to strangers. You're always hoping they'll love it as much as you, but worried they won't. It's always part of the process but in this case–
The response was incredible!
People were lined up to play the single cardboard cut-out playtest copy we had with us, and everyone who played signed up for another battle and offered excellent feedback. It's the dream playtest scenario.
The response at GAMA convinced me that we have something special on our hands and we are working hard to refine the game as we approach the upcoming Kickstarter.
